How can the discipline of architecture be used as a human-centered practice? The Crafting Character monograph, released in October 2023, presents architecture as a spatial dialogue and an exchange between protagonist and audience, book and reader, building and city. Fourteen cinematic vignettes highlight projects as personified entities that have their own histories, dreams, secrets, and stories to share. Each narrative emphasizes this relational culture and the practice of up-and-coming Czech firm Chybik + Kristof as one centered on negotiating the common bonds within a space.
