Curation

To mark the 10th anniversary of design industry nonprofit Be Original Americas in late 2022 and early 2023, I curated three exhibitions pulling back the curtain on the “how” and “why” of iconic design products. Mounted at Ace Hotel properties in New York, Palm Springs, and los Angeles, the showcases offered an in-depth look into different aspects of proprietary production by revealing dissembled components and raw materials.

Exhibitors included Anglepoise, Bernhardt Design, Carl Hansen & Søn, Cerno Group, Designtex, Emeco, Flos, Fritz Hansen, Georg Jensen, Kvadrat, Ligne Roset, Loll Designs, Louis Poulsen, Lumens, MENU, MillerKnoll, The Modern Fan Co, Modern Metal, Phase Design, Rosendahl Design Group, and Tick Studio.
